Hi all,

After a year break in 2009 due to circumstances beyond our control including lack of contestants and problems with the venues license AMC are proud to be back and looking forward to the 2010 show. We are currently looking for contestants and if you think you’ve what it takes to be the new queen of Cork and represent you’re city in Dublin at the Alternative Miss Ireland in March at The Olympia Theatre then email alternativemisscork@gmail.com for info on how to enter.

We are also looking for people to volunteer their time to help before the event and on the night inc set designers, lighting designers, costume designers, a strong fryer team and programme distributers (that will have no problem dressing up like total crazies within reason of course) web designers and anybody that might have some spare time on their hands and thinks that they could bring something creative to the event.

AMC is a non profit organization and money raised goes towards helping the many HIV positive people in Ireland.

AMC 2010 will take place in January at The Savoy Theatre so come on folks time is ticking only 4 months to get those wig’s dusted off and you’re cracked fake nails fixed and send those entry forms in and if you cant wait until then don’t forget AML is on Oct 17th 2009
